How we did Splice Low-Res
It's not about the tech, it's about the community.
On 28 July 2019, the Google News Initiative (GNI) in partnership with Splice Media and Echos Innovation Lab launched the first GNI Design Accelerator program to nurture an innovation culture in small- and medium-scale news publishers in the Asia Pacific.
We are excited to announce the seven selected publishers in Asia Pacific in seven cities across the region. Each partner will be working with design thinking experts over an eight-day intensive program and create product prototypes, reassess business models, or solve challenges in their respective organizations.
In-person sessions with the selected organizations are expected to start in late October 2019. We are proud to be working with these new partners. Look out for updates as we progress through the program.
